USAC racing returns to Richmond International Raceway June 27-28
USAC racing returns to Richmond International Raceway June 27-28 with its top two national series—the K&N Silver Crown Series Presented by Optima Batteries and the National Sprint Car Series. Several NASCAR superstars cut their teeth in USAC, including Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman. The USAC Silver Crown cars will battle it out on Saturday, June 28, in the James River Grounds 100 race, which runs prior to the SunTrust Indy Challenge IndyCar Series race. The Silver Crown cars always feature an exciting 100-lap shootout to kick off the Saturday night action. On Friday, June 27, the USAC National Sprint Car Series will run the "Showdown at Sundown," following Pole Qualifying for the SunTrust Indy Challenge. Friday's ticket includes practice for all three races, as well as an autograph session with all of the IndyCar Series drivers. Tickets for Saturday, which include a seat for the SunTrust Indy Challenge and the James River Grounds 100, are $35 (reserved) and $30 (general admission). Friday's tickets, which include the USAC National Sprint Car Series race, an autograph session with all of the IndyCar Series drivers, as well as practice and pole qualifying for all three races, are $15. Children 12 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult in general admission sections both nights. For tickets and information, please call 866-455-7223 or click here.
